Krakow, the former capital, abounds in tourist attractions, but also its surroundings are among the most interesting places in Poland. During the trip you will see not only the city but also the famous salt mine, the Nazi concentration camp and the national park protecting fascinating rock formations
Day 1
- Flight arrival at Krakow
- Auschwitz – Guided tour of the former Nazi concentration camp. Inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List
- Transfer to Krakow, transfer to the hotel
Day 2
- Krakow sightseeing with a guide. On the route, among others:
- Wawel - a hill with a castle and a cathedral where Polish kings were crowned
- Market - the largest medieval market in Europe surrounded by world-class monuments
- St. Mary's Church - the church is famous for the bugle call and the amazing altar
- In the afternoon, an attraction to choose from:
- Underground of the Market - a multimedia trip into the past enlivened by archaeologists
- Schindler's Factory - commemorates Krakow from the times of the Second World War
- Nowa Huta - today a district of Krakow, once an "ideal" socialist city
Day 3
- After breakfast, a trip to Ojcow National Park - the land of fortified castles, rock gorges and caves
- Castle in Pieskowa Skala - a beautifully situated knight's castle
- A walk through the Pradnik Valley - the most picturesque part of the Ojcow National Park
- Lokietek's grotto - a cave where King Władysław was supposed to have taken shelter
- Return to Krakow and an evening walk around the charming Jewish quarter of Kazimierz
Day 4
Wieliczka – a unique salt mine, inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List
* For tourists who have already visited Wieliczka, the opportunity to switch to the equally interesting Bochnia mine
